[BlueDanube] The biggest threat to Internet freedom

 

My dear friends of this wonderful world Group, I'm sending this petition in the hope you all will agree that we must protect and defend our right to be free in the web from dark forces in action against Internet Freedom... I'm talking about OUR freedom! I suppose some of you did hear/read something about USA's Agencies (Corporations) enacting rules and censorship - so-called SOPA and PIPA repressive acts - outside the American borders: they still think themselves as world owners and masters! I've just signed an urgent petition at Avaaz.org to save the Internet as we know it.

Right now, a new global treaty could encourage corporations to police everything that we do on the Internet. Last week we successfully pushed back the US censorship bills -- if we act now, we can get the EU Parliament to bury this new threat to all of us -- click below to sign the petition:
