A cheap knock off of the moonpie. It is available mainly in the northern United States.
In Canada and the UK it is called a Wagon Wheel. The Scooter Pie consists of two
graham crackerish cookies, a marshmallow filling, and a waxy chocolate coating!

Who can forget memories of those corny educational videos?
Good old fashioned manners that need to make a comeback!
Walk back in time with me and see if you remember any of these.
Oh the memories! Aren't they wonderful?
Watch "Habit Patterns" (1954):

It is the story of Barbara, a high-school student who would have the perfect life...
if only she was more organized. Tormented by the narrator, her neighbor Miss Perfect
Helen and popularity queen Ann Tolliver's ruthless reign of tidiness, Barbara spends a
lot of time crying and fussing with her "messy hair, spotted sweater and hair in a tizzy.".

Many terms were launched from local and ethnic roots that might be considered politically incorrect these days,
and others were linked to their digestion reaction. Some waiter/cook shorthand has become a standard part
of our language, such as Mayo, BLT, and stack (of pancakes). You may still hear some of the old slang terms in
quaint Luncheonettes and Soda Shoppe's in smaller old cities in the United States, as well as in some newer
retro diners where Nostalgia is the gimmick of choice. How many have you used or heard before?
Lets test our knowledge and maybe learn a thing or two.
