Good day koli,
This was gr8 info. Self being a bengali n lived nearly all my life in mumbai with a small amount of time at tarakeshwar where my maternal place is there. I hv been to the temple several times but hv avoided the pandas who try to grab devotees from the station itself. If only this can change it wud be a pleasure to visit the temple again n again.
I think that most of the famous temples in bengal r in same state of affairs.

You can reach Tarakshwar by taking Tarakeshwar local train from Howrah. You can also take a bus from Dharmatala, Kolkata.
