If Disney Princesses Were Real
Posted by: "Deepak Punjabi" indigoblue2005@yahoo.com indigoblue2005

Weâve always loved the Disney
princesses in a fairy tale sense, so weâve never imagined they were
real. But one graphic design student at the Arts University College at
Bournemouth in the UK had the creative idea to bring Disney characters
to life using photo manipulation. Jirka Väätäinen told us, âI've always
been interested in the way people look and what makes them unique in
their appearances. This was a personal challenge for me to see if I
could recreate characters that we all know and love, and try to maintain
their unique features. The end results are what I would imagine the
characters to look like in âreal life,â while still staying somewhat
true to the unrealistic quirks in their original character designs.â
Väätäinen said his interpretations of eight Disney princesses and one
villain were created by combining elements from different photos of
women who resemble the characters. He then creates composite images
through digital painting and then puts them together using Photoshop.
The results are stunning and completely entertaining.
Check out all of Väätäinenâs Disney-inspired art here in this slideshow.
Weâre hoping heâll add Snow White, Cinderella, Tiana, Rapunzel, Alice,
and Tinker Bell soon. Some of them look very realistic.
Princess Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin comes to "real" life via a graphic artist's
Princess Aurora of "Sleeping Beauty" looks like a supermodel. Those cheek bones!
Pocahontas is working some Barbie-like proportions.
Beautiful Belle may not fall for Beast right away, but he'll find a way to win her over.
We can understand why everyone is obsessed with Esmeralda, the stunning gypsy in "The Hunchback of Notre Dame."
If mermaids were real, Ariel of "The Little Mermaid" might look like this.
Ursula the sea witch from "The Little Mermaid" was based on the actor/drag queen Divine. We can see the resemblance!
Megara from "Hercules" looks like she's up to no good. Perhaps because she had to work for Hades.
And here's his latest addition: Mulan!

The Sealander Cara-boat..

<goog_1073412444> The Sealander Cara-boat is a newly designed travel
entertainment container which suits a family requirement. This boat extends
the enjoyment of camping and leisure. It has a double hull, meaning that if
it springs a leak only the sub-floor will fill with water. A road trip
doesn't have to be the end of the road; you can pull the Sealander into the
water and continue on your holiday.
The Sealander include cooking, cleaning, eating and sleeping facilities and
can move around on the water due to its electric motor. It promises to
combine the pleasures of camping with cruising in a single holiday. There
have been numerous designs for cars crossed with boats, but amphibious craft
have been most commonly used for search and rescue, and in the military.

Tiny Tiger Triplet too Timid to Take a Bow
Trio born in August after father flown in especially from Germany
There are only 400 Sumatran tigers left in the world
By OLIVER PICKUP
Last updated at 8:03 PM on 25th October 2011
If you went Down Under to this Australian zoo today, you would have been in for a triple surprise.
Because three extremely rare Sumatran tiger cubs were wowing both young and old visitors on their debut appearance at Taronga Zoo, in Sydney.
Two of the cute triplets were curious at all the human eyes tracked on them as they happily played beside their mother.
But one big scaredy cat was so timid it had to hide behind some foliage, away from the many camera flashes and excited children looking in to the enclosure.
Scroll down for a video of the triplets at Taronga Zoo
Scaredy cat: One of the two-month-old cubs hides in the foliage, away from the flashes of cameras at Taronga Zoo
With wide eyes the two-month-old cub wonders who on earth all the people taking photos are
Mummy's favourite: Two of the more curious cubs perch by their mother, under the gaze of the many viewers
The mother, Jumilah, took the attention in her stride, and perhaps her two-month-old cubs have been keeping her busy as at one point she produced a yawn which showed her huge mouth.
She gave birth to the two male and one female cubs on August 20, after mating with father Satu.
And the cubs will only be on show for short periods of time, as they tire very quickly for the moment, but as they age, they will spend more time on view in their enclosure.
Sumatran tigers can only be found on the Indonesian island of Sumatra - the only remaining stronghold for tigers in the country.
Experts estimate that there are just 400 such tigers left in the wild - and only 7 per cent of their original habitat remains, which is why these triplets are so important.
Sumatran tiger Jumilah enjoys a big yawn and shows all her teeth - her little ones are obviously tiring her out
Jumilah is seen playing with one of her cubs on display at Taronga Zoo
Here's licking at you, kid: Mother Jumilah is seen pruning one of the tiny cubs
Louise Ginman, carnivore supervisor at Taronga Zoo, said she was purring with delight that all three tigers are healthy and strong, after Satu had been flowing in from Europe to breed with Jumilah.
'Satu was brought to Taronga from Germany as part of the international zoo breeding program for Sumatran tigers to mate with our Taronga-born female Jumilah and introduce new genetics to our region,' she told Manly Daily.
'The female cub is really cheeky, with a lot of attitude and is the first one to check out new things.
'The boys are more cautious, but theyâre growing in confidence and body size each day, now tipping the scales over 6kg each.'
Ms Ginman continued: 'There are only about 400 Sumatran tigers left in the wild, so to see them here at Taronga and know that they are part of a safety-net in case wild populations go extinct is pretty remarkable.'
