This past Sunday, Oct. 23, in the eastern part of Turkey was a short but powerful earthquake. As a result, it has been destroyed over 2,000 buildings, and tremors were felt hundreds of miles away. The epicenter of an earthquake of magnitude 7.2 was located in the city of Van near the Iranian border, but the greatest damage recorded in the nearest town to it Ercis. According to the October 25, 432 people were killed and 1,350 injured. Rescuers have already helped dozens of people, including two-week baby with his mother and grandmother, to escape from under the rubble.
