Nightfall The smiling sun hid beyond the horizon and so night fell on the house lot the gentle breeze appeared The moon came softly through the trees the way the stars appeared in the sky and the night slowly settled the distance a dog barked an owl hooted a cricket sang but soon it all calmed all slept all was quiet only the wind moans softly lifting the sheet path cradling the boy sleeping and dreaming smiling little house on the hill there behind the horizon ...
